Asthma Testing
Comprehensive Care for Asthma & Other Respiratory Disorders
Asthma testing at Chicago Pulmonary Specialists is designed to assess lung function. The most common lung function test used to diagnose asthma is spirometry, which simply measures how much and how quickly your child can blow air out of his or her lungs. However, depending on your child’s condition, we offer a full range of asthma testing services that include:
- Exhaled Nitric Oxide Assessment
- Asthma Biologic Administration and Monitoring (XOLAIR®, NUCALA®, or FASENRA™ – all are injectables)
- Asthma Education (use of inhalers and nebulizers, etc.)
- Clinical Research Trials
- Provocation Challenges
- Methacholine Challenges
- Mannitol Provocation
- Cold Air Challenges
- Exercise Challenges
If your child is having breathing difficulties and needs to be tested for asthma or other respiratory condition, contact Chicago Pulmonary Specialists at (847) 998-3434 or request an appointment using our convenient online form.
